Why?
Each year more than 30,000 substantiated cases of child abuse and neglect are reported in Georgia.  The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy is committed to facilitating the healing process for children and families in DeKalb and Fulton counties who have experienced child sexual abuse.

Since 1987, the Georgia Center has offered a safe haven for abused children, provided long-term psychological treatment to victims and their families, and assisted in the investigation of abuse cases.  As a 2007 Cheer for Children guest, you are supporting the continued care of children who have no other place to turn.
