Teddy Bears

Each year the Center gives away over 1,000 teddy bears to help comfort children after they have a forensic interview. The forensic interview process is often very frightening and distressing for children and the teddy bear offers them as sense of security after they have done the brave thing of telling what has happened to them. We accept donations of medium size teddy preferably without logos and decorations. You can participate by donating teddy bears yourself or by hosting a teddy bear drive through your place of employment, church, or neighborhood association to help us provide these items.

Play Therapy and Art Supplies

One of the best ways for a child to begin down the road to recovery and healing is through creative self-expression and the Center is always in need of play therapy toys and art supplies.

The Center is partnering with the Fulton County Children’s Advocacy Center to help provide items such as clothing and toiletries to children who must be removed from their homes to ensure their protection. In some cases, a child may be removed from their home in a crisis situation and placed in a shelter or foster care, which means they need emergency clothing and personal care items to take with them.
